Alex Babcock
Alex Babcock joined the Icemen coaching staff in the Fall of 2019 as a 16u coach. Alex brings a different dynamic to our staff that we welcome greatly.
Alex is originally from Elk River and went to college at Bethany Lutheran. Like Caldeen, Alex played a major role for Bethany during his time there. He was a 2-time All-Conference pitcher and was 17th in the nation with a 1.6 ERA in 2017. During their run to their first ever conference title in 2018, Alex earned 3 wins in the playoffs. Being the player he was, he was able to play in the Northwoods League for the Thunder Bay Bordercats in 2017, and for the Mankato Moondogs in 2018. Alex graduated Bethany with a degree in Exercise Science and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Chiropractic with a sports emphasis. This aspect brings a different and very important ability for our Icemen family that we have not had prior.
We are happy we can add Alex to our coaching staff as a coach, and help our players out using his chiropractic background as he finishes up his Doctorate program.
