Drew, a native of Anoka, MN, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his role as a baseball coach. During his high school years, he served as the starting catcher and captain of the varsity baseball team, showcasing his leadership qualities and commitment to the sport.

Drew’s journey with the Icemen began in 2017 when he joined the team as a player. His exceptional work ethic and dedication to the game earned him several awards, including the Mr. Grinder award in 2017 and 2018, the Defensive Player of the Year award in 2019, and the prestigious Mr. Iceman award. These accolades highlight his outstanding contributions on the field and his embodiment of the Icemen’s values.

After high school, Drew pursued his academic interests and graduated from Century College with an AA degree in Graphic Design. Leveraging his skills and passion for media, he took on the responsibility of managing the team’s video and social media accounts. Drew’s expertise in video editing and content creation make him the go-to person for anyone looking for recruiting videos or engaging edits. In 2021, Drew made the transition from being a player to becoming a coach for the Minnesota Icemen. He finds great joy in sharing his knowledge and love for the game with the next generation of Icemen players. Drew’s unique perspective as a former player allows him to connect with and mentor the athletes on a personal level, imparting valuable insights and fostering their growth both on and off the field.
