Jeff Heath

Jeff went to Irondale High School from 2006-2010 where he played Varsity baseball for 3 seasons.  Heath had an overall record of 12-4 with a H.S. career ERA of 2.41 with over 100 Strikeouts.  He was All Conference in his Junior season going 7-1 with an era of 1.78 and 56 K’s.  Jeff also spent time in the outfield as well as playing some first base.  He then went on to attend Century Community College for two years.  While at Century, Jeff had a 14-4 record while having a 2.58 ERA over the two seasons.  After 2 seasons at Century, Heath transferred to Grandview University in Des Moines, IA where he redshirted his first year, and then went on to have a career record at Grandview of 12-8 with a 3.14 ERA.  He also recorded 5 saves in his senior year after transitioning to a closer.  Jeff currently plays Amateur baseball for the Tri-City Shark and has been playing for the past 7 summers.

Heath has been with the Icemen since Fall of 2017 and has coached primarily younger teams spanning from 12U-15U.  Jeff also has coached a 13U AAA team in Roseville and was able to help lead them to a fourth place finish in State.
