Jamie Ogden

Jamie attended White Bear Lake High School where was 4x All Conference, 3x All State, and a 2x All American. He was offered a full ride to Oklahoma for Baseball and Basketball, but he was drafted in the 3rd round by the MN Twins in the 1990 MLB Draft. Ogden was a top 10 prospect in the Gulf Coast League in 1991, won the Community Player award in 1996 with the New Britain Rock Cats. He plated in the AZ Fall League in 95’ and 96’. From 1996-1998 Jamie was on the Twins 40 man roster, and was at Big League Spring Training. He retired in 1998 due to back injuries.

Jamie has played with, been coached by, and played against some incredible people, including, Tom Kelly, Ron Gardenhire, Tony Oliva, Kirby Puckett, Paul Molitor, Torii Hunter, David Ortiz, LaTroy Hawkins, Mariano Rivera, Chipper Jones, Derek Jeter, Billy Wagner, Randy Johnson, Ivan Rodriguez, Aaron Bone, Cliff Floyd, and many more.

Ogden has done individual training since 1996 for youth-pro, and he has been a Twins camp instructor and speaker multiple times. Jamie has been a part of the Icemen since it first began, but he coached his first team this fall of 2018.
