Cole Easley

Cole Easley is a new addition to the Icemen coaching staff starting in the fall of 2019. Cole’s main role is a coach and a hitting instructor who already has made an impact on our players in a short amount of time. We are excited for him to grow as a part of the Icemen family.

Cole went to high school at Mound Westonka where he earned 12 varsity letters in baseball, football, soccer, swimming, and tennis. He was an All-State honoree, captain of the swimming team, and member of the state qualifying tennis team where he played 3 years of varsity before switching to baseball his Junior year.

After high school, Cole attended Minnesota State Fergus Falls where he lead the Spartans in hitting his freshman and sophomore years. He was awarded with All-Southern, All-MCAC, and All-Region XIII honors. He then went to Bemidji State he had a career .400 batting average before testing the waters of pro-ball.

His first stop in pro ball was with the Sullivan Explorers of the Empire Independent Pro League. In the 2017 season, Easley was named and all-star and broke the record for most stolen bases in a game (5). During 2018, he played in the South Florida Winter League, Martinez Clippers Pacific Association, and Old Orchard Beach Surge.
